Work in Progress #2 - Hand-Painted Cloth

Yay~!!! Okay~ I'm hand-painting several cotton pieces~

These are the first three I've created :3

Morning Glory:
I drew her too long and not wide enough for my liking, so I cut her out from the bigger
piece of cloth and am going to work on her separately...maybe I'll sew her into another piece of cloth...who knows :3 shall discuss it with my bunneh-twin~ X3

Blue Flower:
She doesn't have a name yet~ I think when I saw the material, with the
embroidered flowers I fell in love with it instantly, and knew
I had to paint on it!
Usagi-chan, I really hope you like her~!!! :3

A Sky Dream:

This pink-haired girl is one of the first few ideas I had when I wanted to
start work on this hand-painted-cloth series~
I hope she turns out as darling as I hope her to be~!

Thats all for now, come again tomorrow to see more lovelies~! :3

Art for Artmiucutie - Avine and Undine

We're making hand-painted bags at the moment~!!!!!

*so excited*

I wanted to get some practice with watercolors before
I painted on these beautiful materials Yannie has let me use
for the creation of our handmade bags~

The first Art Work I created for Artmiucutie was "Undine":

I was inspired by a poem similarly titled by Jane Yolan.

Then more recently, in fact, finished last night~!!!!! "Avine":

Who is a vine-spirit of a dream forest which I have been building for a while.
Like building castles in the air? I'm building forest in my dreams~ :3

You can find them on our Esty~! :

Rose Quartz and Carnelian Stones

I finished three of the other stones~!!!
So in the afternoon I took dozens of pictures~:

Rose Quartz (Oval-shaped)

An oval-shaped Rose Quartz nestled in a metal-hoop mesh~
It took me a while to get it just right

What with all the unhooking and re-hooking so that
stray chain doesn't stick out unnecessarily~

And it was so worth it! I love the result :3

Rose Quartz (Heart-shaped)

A sort of heart-shaped Rose Quartz~
It was the first one I did, and I made it such that a corner
of the stone was able to peek out of it's nest,
as though it was love-overflowing it's constrains~

Carnelian (An Irregular Teardrop-shaped)

I think I took the most number of pictures with the Carnelian
as I wanted to get it's duo-personalities;
In the sun, it glows with an inner fire
and under normal light, it is tranquil, it's color
just peeking out from within it's metallic nest~

They are available on our esty~!

~Amethyst Madness~!

I've finished deciding what to do with the Amethyst stones
and fixing them together~ They are available on Esty now~

The pendants are rather versatile, as you can
hook them onto a chain as charm bracelet, or wear them
on a chain or a leather strap as a necklace:

There is also the rather elaborate "Amethyst River"
Which is my favourite as it's a string of
small Amethyst stones and little glass
beads, with the larger plump amethyst which
I kinda liked a lot as the piece's cap-stone~:

The bracelet was inspired mostly by the metal circles which
I really love as they are so slender and yet
they are so awkward in a sense...they must dream of being something
larger, like hoops, but must settle for the inbetween~:

Small metal beads are also strung on the metal circles~
Somehow the idea of something to fiddle with on the circles
themselves gave me such delight when creating the piece~
XD I'm a sort of can-this-be-fiddled-with? creator...
if you can fiddle with it, then it's perfect :3

And last but not least, The Amethyst Piece,
Which I choose specifically because of the shape of
the stone. It's such a unique shape amongst my stones,
and has such a presence, that I could see immediately that
it needed it's own chain, and should be worn alone, like
a choker or a simple pendant-on-a-chain:

Lovin' them all~

Work in Progress #1

Been working with Amethyst Stones,
beautiful things really~ Deliberating whether to create
necklaces and bracelets out of them, or keep them as pendants which
others can decide what to do with them...

Drawing inspiration from comic books...

Though even I have to admit that my selection is
a bit strange, considering how I'm not creating anything
particularly violent or mysterious...

My first ever tool box~! It's so small~ I love it!

Other stones I'm considering working with...
I love the pretty rose-stones the best~
They remind me of love and spring!

I shall keep working on them,
hopefully they'll take me to some place amazing~
